Kevin Crossley-Holland (Author) Kevin Crossley-Holland is a well-known poet and prize-winning author for children. His books have won the Carnegie Medal, the Smarties Prize Bronze Medal, and the Tir na n-Og Award, and have been translated into over 25 languages worldwide. He lives on the north Norfolk coast in East Anglia with his wife and children.Susan Varley (Illustrator) Susan Varley is an award-winning artist who has illustrated many books for Andersen Press. Her picture book Badger's Parting Gifts that deals with grief, is one of the most enduring of all time, winning many prizes, including the Mother Goose Award in 1985.
