Description

Granny has a secret: big changes aren't so scary when we take comfort in the time it takes to embrace them When her granddaughter is missing her old home, Granny teaches her a secret. The flower buds arent quite open, but they will be soon: theyre in the space between, and that time is a gift to treasure. Just like the flowers will soon bloom, in time she will feel at home. But Grannys in the space between too . . . and she might need a little help to come out on the other side.

Author Bio

Clare Helen Welsh (Author) Clare Helen Welsh is a primary school teacher and picture book writer extraordinaire! When she isnt writing stories she is inspiring children to write their own. In 2013, Clare won The Margaret Carey Scholarship for Picture Book Writers and she received a Silver Medal at The Greenhouse Funny Prize 2014. Clare lives in Devon with her husband and two children.Fiona Lumbers (Illustrator) Fiona Lumbers has drawn on anything and everything from an early age and always insisted she would be an artist when she grew up. Fiona moved to London in 2000 to study for an MA in Painting at the Royal College of Art. A combination of her obsession with picture books and the arrival of her first son led her down the path of illustration and she hasn't looked back since. Nothing makes her happier than splashing watercolours and inks and conjuring up new characters - often influenced by the exploits of her two sons.
