A captivating picture book retelling by Shakespeares Globe for very young readers.
William Shakespeares dazzling play about magic, revenge and forgiveness is unforgettably re-imagined by Shakespeares Globe as a picture book for very young readers. The story is told from the perspective of Ariel, in language that is true to the original play but accessible to all. With shimmering, exquisite illustrations by the acclaimed artist Jane Ray, this fresh retelling is a magical way to introduce children to one of the best-loved works of the worlds greatest playwright.
Shakespeares Globe is inspired and informed by the unique historic playing conditions of two beautiful iconic theatres. Its diverse programme of work harnesses the power of performance, cultivates intellectual curiosity and excites learning to make Shakespeare accessible for all. Visit the theatre on the South Bank in London.
