Author Bio

Philippos Mandilaras was born in Athens.He studied Contemporary Literature at Paris-Sorbonne University,Ethnology & Anthropology at the Ecole des Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales and Creative Writing in Aleph-Ecriture.He has published more than 80 books.In 2014 he received the National Award for Best YA Literature.His innovative Greek Mythology/Greek History series for children has sold over 500,000 copies in Greece. He is actively involved in creative writing workshops for children and youth. Natalia Kapatsoulia was born in Athens, Greece. She studied French literature at the University of Athens and Illustration at the Ornerakis School of Applied Arts and followed seminars on childrens books illustration in Italy.She has been working as a freelance childrens books illustrator for many years now, but still does enjoy every single new project. She has been shortlisted for the Greek State Illustration Awards several times.
