Author Bio

Helen Kellock is an illustrator and artist based in Glasgow, with a Masters in Illustration from the Glasgow School of Art. Her previous books include The Star in the Forest, which won her the Batsford Prize for Childrens Illustration, and Out to Sea, which was shortlisted for the Waterstones Children's Book Prize. Helen is also winner of the Moniack Mhor Writing for Children Award and the GSA Chairmans Medal for Design, and was the inaugural Picture Hooks Illustrator of the Year.
