Wanda the little witch is very afraid of having a haircut because she is sure it will hurt her curls. Her hat, who is very concerned about Wanda's growing, growing, growing hair, has a wonderful idea. She suggests a 'hair treatment' instead in this amusing story with lyrical language about finding creative solutions and overcoming fear of getting a haircut.
Brigitte Stanton lives in a small country town in New South Wales, Australia, with her husband and two little rascal dogs, Mac and Lucy. She is a keen gardener and loves animals and magical creatures. Brigitte has a passion for writing books for young people and creates characters that are charming and sometimes mischievous. Her stories are enchanting and deal with everyday events that children can relate to. Oh, and yes, at the bottom of her garden there are indeed fairies, witches, pixies...
