Author Bio

Karl Newson (Author) Karl Newson is an award-winning children's book author. He grew up in Norwich, Norfolk, and was inspired to write his first story when his children were small. Karl has been shortlisted for the Sainsbury's Children's Book Award, among others, and his stories are published in over 20 languages around the world. He lives in London with his family and a forest of pot plants.Zehra Hicks (Illustrator) Zehra Hicks is a tutor at Chelsea College of Arts, where she completed a Short Course in Book Illustration in 2009. Since then, she has been highly commended for the Macmillan Prize for Illustration, nominated for the Kate Greenaway Medal, and shortlisted for the Read It Again! Cambridgeshire Children's Picture Book Award. Zehra lives with her family in Epsom, Surrey.
