Description

Mr and Mrs Li aren't quite sure what to make of the strange beings that crash into their house at midnight.

Their eyes are very big, their skin is very blue, and their shape is very hard to describe. And even though they insist that they are DEFINITELY human, they're not like any human Mr and Mrs Li have ever seen.

Fortunately the Lis are both very kind humans, so when the visitors ask for help, they don't think twice before giving it.

Reviews

'An author-illustrator with a singular and witty vision... For those of us who are indisputably, unalterably human, the book is a welcome vote of confidence. Maybe NASA can figure out a way to weld a copy onto its next space probe' - New York Times

'What starts out as a fish-out-of-water comedy becomes a close encounter of straightforward acceptance' - Publishers Weekly, Holiday Gift Guide

'Quite beautiful... Laugh-out-loud lovely' - Booklist, starred review

'Impeccable comedic timing and deadpan humor... DEFINITELY a good book' - Kirkus, starred review

'--Praise for Dim Sum Palace--' - --
