Author Bio

Caryl Hart is the author of numerous books and series including The Princess and the . . . series and How to Grow a Dinosaur. She has won many awards, including the Teach Early Years Award 2022 for The Girl Who Planted Trees, which was also chosen as one of the best books of 2022 by Waterstones Children's Laureate, Joseph Coelho. Her book Meet the Oceans was also chosen by Waterstones as one of the Best Books of 2021.


Rosalind Beardshaw is the illustrator of My Pet Star by Corrinne Averiss, which won the Sainsbury's Book Award. She also won the Sheffield Baby Book Award for Box, written by Min Flyte.
