Author Bio

Sam McBratney was a teacher before taking an early retirement to focus on his writing. Sam soon made picture book history with his beautiful Guess How Much I Love You. Shortlisted for the 1994 Kurt Maschler Award, and a recipient of the 1996 ALA Notable Childrens Book, the title has sold over 28 million copies and has been translated into 53 languages to date. 2004 saw Sam re-united with Anita on Youre All my Favourites, which was shortlisted for the Irish Bisto Book of the Year Award. Sam lived in County Antrim, Northern Ireland.

Anita Jeram is the beloved illustrator of Guess How Much I Love You, written by Sam McBratney, and over twenty books for children including Skip to the Loo, My Darling!, written by Sally Lloyd-Jones. Her work is recognized and cherished the world over for its timeless quality, so full of warmth and humour. Born in Portsmouth, Anita lives in Northern Ireland.
