Description

The Cowboy Frog is a Magabala favourite, back by popular demand. It follows the adventures of a cocky, heroic frog who becomes the legend of Noonkanbah Crossing. During his adventures he catches snakes, goannas and barramundi, fights crocodiles and then eats them all for dinner. He is a frog like no other. The Cowboy Frog is a bi-lingual story featuring English and the Walmajarri language from the east Kimberley.

Hylton Laurel is from Millijidee, a tiny and remote community in the Kimberley region of Western Australia. Hylton first wrote and illustrated The Cowboy Frog when he was only nine years old. He has a keen interest in hunting and fishing,
