Author Bio

Michelle Harrison grew up in Essex and is the youngest of three sisters. Her first novel, The Thirteen Treasures, won the Waterstones Childrens Book Prize. Born and raised in Leicester, David wanted to be an artist from the age of 5. He graduated from Manchester Metropolitan University in 1993, then travelled around Asia with sketchbooks for 3 years, before moving to London in 1997. David worked as a commercial illustrator before falling into childrens publishing in 2006, illustrating Andy StantonsMr Gumseries which went on to win numerous awards, including the first Roald Dahl Funny Prize in 2008.
