Quentin Blake is one of the best-loved storytellers in the world. His books include dozens of modern classics and he has collaborated with an incredible range of authors, perhaps most famously Roald Dahl. Quentin was appointed the first UK Children's Laureate in 1999, was created CBE in 2005, and received a knighthood for 'services to illustration' in the New Year's Honours for 2013. Emma Chichester Clark studied at the Royal College of Art . She has worked as a freelancer for magazines, publishers and advertising agencies as well as teaching art for several years, but now dedicates most of her time to childrens books.
