An ode to earth, sea and sky, Warna-Manda Baby Earth Walk is a gift to future generations to help them connect, care and understand the world around them.
Susan Betts was born in the Tuna fishing town of Port Lincoln on South Australia's Eyre Peninsula and her family ties are to the Kokata, Wirangu and Mirning groups from the Far-Western Nullarbor Plains of South Australia.
For many years Susan worked as a contemporary artist and designer for the Aboriginal design company Balarinji during which time she designed Qantas' iconic Boeing 747 jet (named Nalanji Dreaming) as well as producing the design "Sweet Water" for Coca Cola's 2m Coke bottle statue (currently viewed at their Museum in Atlanta, USA and other work(s) for the Sydney Olympic Committee.
Susan also freelances as Artist/Designer to several Government departments and companies with her other designs (Including some local Government logos) being available for sale / view both in Australia and abroad.
Mandy Foot is an award winning, best-selling, children's book Author and Illustrator with more than 300,000 books sold throughout Australia and New Zealand. She is an Ambassador for Raising Literacy Australia, Role Model for Books in Homes and the Illustrator Co-ordinator for the Society of Children's Books Writers and Illustrators Society (SCBWI) South Australian branch.
She is also a member of Ekidnas (South Australian Children's Authors and Illustrators - published), Illustrators Australia, Adelaide Illustrators, Writers SA and the Children's Book Council of Australia (CBCA). She holds a Bachelor of Design (Illustration) from the University of South Australia (graduated 1992).
