Sharing the Best of What You Have is the fifth book in a series of stories about the adventures of a young Muslim boy. Sulaiman forges a new friendship that seems to be a bit one-sided and he feels he is being taken advantage of. He later learns the reality of his friend's situation and understands the importance of giving the best of what he has without expecting anything in return, other than the reward of Allah. He also learns that giving in charity is not solely about donating money but involves helping others by listening to their problems and finding solutions by volunteering your time, and your skills and talents.
Aliya is an English revert to Islam and lives with her husband and six children in the UK. She gained her first award for a writing competition aged 10. She later began writing children's stories while home schooling her children. In 2008, she won two awards at the Muslim Writers Awards for best children's story and writer of the Year.
