An ABC book of children with disabilities. The author wanted to give first hand narratives of kids discussing their abilities despite their disabilities. A creative and fictional account of nonfictional medical disabilities. To help educate children on different disabilities in order to promote inclusion and acceptance.
Natassia Williamson is a Family Nurse Practitioner. She is a mother to a son and twin daughters. She embarked on the journey of writing books that would highlight children with special needs. This ABC book came about after having a twin daughter with feeding difficulties. While trying to find a diagnosis for her daughters' condition, she decided to continue her research and turn it into a book. Amid writing this book she developed a mom blog to provide insight into some of the highs and lows of parenting. She bestowed upon her husband the luxury of illustrating the book. In some instances, her ideas were too creative for paper, but he exceeded her expectations.
