AUTHOR: Meredith Costain is a versatile writer whose work ranges from picture books through to poetry, novels and non-fiction for young readers. Her books for younger readers include Bed Tails, No Noise at Our House and Musical Harriet, which was adapted for television by the ABC. Doodledum Dancing, a collection of verse for young readers illustrated by Pamela Allen, was an Honour Book in the 2007 Children's Book Council of Australia awards. Her poetry for children has appeared in several anthologies and magazines. Meredith is a regular presenter of writing workshops in tertiary institutions, libraries and schools.
