Born in our nation's capitol, Jane Sharpe is the oldest of three children born to a USPS Postmaster and a Vietnam veteran. Married at nineteen, she and her husband then joined the U.S. Air Force for both adventure and a safety net during the early years of their marriage. Jane homeschools their five children, and prefers reading to cleaning house. Her love language is food.
Jane is thankful that God was faithful to send a Messiah like he said he would, and believes that his name is Jesus. Faith in him has equipped her as she has gone, reluctant and complaining, through the challenges and difficulties of life.
She likes old books and new books and big coffee table books, even though she's never put them on her coffee table. Among her 3,000+ book collection are collections of ABC picture books; Abraham Lincoln, reconstruction, and civil rights books; Tomie DePaola's books; and (some of) the Landmarks, among others.
