Linda Jackson is a true pioneer and free spirit of Australian fashion and art. A long career has taken Linda Jackson around Australia on wanderings through the outback of Oz, discovering and documenting the amazing landscape in a myriad of ways, and revealing a colourful and unique passion for telling the stories of her travels and translating her inspiration through her artworks. Awards and recognition includes being a Life Fellow Powerhouse Museum, receiving a Women of Style Fashion Award, and an Australia Council Fellowship, and being appointed Lightning Ridge Opal Ambassador. Her work has been widely exhibited in private and public galleries and Linda's archives are in the collections of the National Gallery of Australia, Powerhouse Museum, National Gallery of Victoria, Art Gallery of South Australia and Queen Victoria Museum and Art Gallery Tasmania. In 2018, Linda was honoured as an Officer in the Order of Australia.
