Meet Bud, one cute little rose bud about to embark on an epic adventure. Bud is happy in his little pot in his greenhouse with his best friend Buzz. Every day, Sun warms him, and every night, Moon tells him tales of the Big Outside. Until one day . . . POP! Everything changes and he is planted beneath looming trees and wiggly worms. The Big Outside is scary, but new adventures can be. And theres no bigger adventure than growing up . . . Combining a reassuring coming-of-age story with plant life cycles, this is a unique non-fiction picture book to inspire green fingers in little children and to prepare them for the big, wide world.
