Author Bio

Meg Fleming is the award-winning author of several picture books celebrating the natural world through rhyme and repetition, including Here Comes Ocean and Sometimes Rain, a 2019 ALA Top 10 Picture Book for Sustainability. Meg is a master of connecting to younger audiences through her wit, sense of fun and mischief, as well as her remarkable optimism and the special sense of rhythm she cultivated as a vocal coach. She was inspired to write I Was Born a Baby when her youngest child had an epiphany: "I was BORN a baby" Ben had met babies but hadn't known he'd been one. She lives outside of San Francisco with her husband and three kids.
