Author Bio

Aided by her little rescue dog, Kika, Robin has been designing and illustrating bestselling children's books for more than ten years. In her spare time, Robin loves attending art and drawing classes, wild swimming and dreaming of an alternative reality in which she cleans up the streets of the south coast, UK as a crime-fighting superhero! Digital illustrator Mel Matthews' bright and charming characters have featured in children's books, private commissions, advertising campaigns and everything in between. After studying fine art and illustration in Melbourne, Mel now works exclusively in digital format from her Mornington Peninsula studio in Australia. Mel regularly lends her skills to the non-profit sector, including UNICEF, and each year makes time to take on pro-bono work such as donating artwork to raise money for good causes.
