Laura Driscoll has written numerous books for children, including the other books in this series, I Want to Be a Police Officer, I Want to Be a Doctor, and I Want to be a Veterinarian. Laura enjoys going to New York Mets games, volunteer work, and singing in a ten-woman acapella group. She lives in Sunnyside, New York, with her husband.
