Georgina Lazaro naci en Puerto Rico y es autora y traductora de libros infantiles. Ha escrito mas de setenta libros y traducido alrededor de cincuenta, entre los que se incluyen obras de autores como Shel Silverstein, Margarita Engle, Juan Felipe Herrera y Dr. Seuss, de quien ha traducido mas de diez libros, incluyendo el famoso The Cat in the Hat. Algunas de sus traducciones han sido reconocidas por Kirkus Reviews, Texas Star Reading y Junior Library Guild. Georgina Lazaro is a children's book author and translator born in Puerto Rico.
