"Children (and their parents) have never had it so good when they can be exposed to books of such stunning beauty and poetry as Belinda Hollyer's "Bloomsbury Book of Lullabies". Robin Bell Corfield's glorious artwork in sunset hues is a joy to behold and each picture richly complements the lyrical text." - "The Bookseller". "This sleepy collection of bedtime rhymes and verse is perfectly matched by the dreamy illustrations in pastel water-colours." - "Junior". This is a stunningly-illustrated, original collection of lullabies. With a mix of traditional and modern rhymes, the poems in this collection are delightful for reading aloud and sharing with young children. Uniquely, this book takes the reader through the poetic journey of getting ready for bed - from the first "Evening is Coming" to the last, sleepy "The White Seal's Lullaby".
