Description

Should a howler monkey choose the top bunk Not if below him there sleeps - a skunk. Skunks cant help it but they really do stink and with the pong and thehowling, could you sleep a wink Never let an ostrich nap in a hammock, or a slug bed down in a buggy, and don't even THINK about asking an octopus to snooze in your sink ... This riotous picture book is filled with animals causing total disaster as they try to sleep in the most unsuitable beds. A real romp of a book, with hilarious rhyming text and spectacular illustrations.

Reviews

Praise for You Can't Take an Elephant on the Bus: delightfully brought to life with David Tazzymans quirky illustrations and a jaunty rhyming text. You will laugh out loud as tigers ride on trains, whales ride on bikes and giraffes go on aeroplanes * Publishers Association *
The bold, caricature style illustrations, rhyming couplets, and varying font styles add to the humour * Practical Pre-School *
Everything that you could wish for in a picture book, humour, ridiculous situations and imagination stimulating scenarios. Quite frankly, this is picture book writing and illustration at its very best * Being a Mummy *
David Tazzymans scratchy style is a great match to this scatty surprising picture book * Books for Keeps *
Chaotic, crazy, fabulously funny and full of humorously energetic illustrations, this is a book that promises to evoke giggles of glee from readers fortunate enough to come across it * Eye, Eye *
