Author Bio

Arthur McBain is an actor and writer from Liverpool. As an actor, he has worked on both stage and screen. He is best known for portraying Snowy Fleet in the critically acclaimed ABC television series Friday On My Mind. He began his acting career in the Royal Shakespeare Company and National Theatre of Scotland's international touring play Dunsinane.

After 10 years of working in graphic design, Tom Knightfinally realised that true happiness lies in drawing pictures for a living in a shed at the bottom of the garden. Brought up on a healthy diet of Tintin, The Beano and good sea air, Tom has illustrated more than 30 books for children, and has now turned his hand to writing his own. He finds most of his inspiration from the natural world, particularly the coast, which he finds in abundance on Mersea Island where he lives with his family.
