Author Bio

Mackenzie Porter loves writing books inspired by her family.She wrote her first book,In My Heart, when she returned to work after the birth of her daughter.Mackenzie works full time in a child abuse prevention program and is also studying to obtain her Master of Public Health (MPH) degree. In her spare time, she loves to travel anywhere and everywhere.She lives in Indianapolis, Indiana, with her husband, daughter, dog, and the rest of her big Greek family.

Katie Cottle is a freelance illustrator and picture book maker living and working in Bristol, UK. Originally from Swansea, she moved to Bristol to study illustration at University of the West of England and hasnt left since graduating in 2017. She enjoys telling stories through her drawing and uses a variety of media, including a mix of traditional and digital techniques. She loves using bright colors and drawing grumpy faces.
