David Owen, a graduate in engineering, moved from the aerospace industry into scientific writing and journalism. His works include publications on military deception and air incident investigations as well as radio and television documentaries on electronic intelligence and computer crime. Owen has contributed to leading newspapers, and his television work as a producer and director throughout the 1980s and 1990s extends to more than 80 projects.
