The world is in grave danger and no one knows it, no human anyway, except for thirteen-year-old Benton Johnson.
The adventure grows even more dangerous as it continues for Benton and his ragtag group of friends. Armed with the power to speak to animals, Benton must finish his desperate race to rescue the ancient tortoise Tui Malila before the possessed pirate Black Bellamy consumes her powerful life force and destroys the world. After having already lost a trusted companion along the way, and barely escaping with his own life in his mission to discover the location of Tuis secret whereabouts, Benton must now face Bellamys demonic minions and save Tui with only his wits and any animal brave, or foolish, enough to help.
Time is running out and the fate of the world hangs in the balance.
After years of writing poetry, Matthew decided to take the plunge and write a book. So, when not building hospitals or trying to keep up with his daughter, Matthew manages to find time to write, usually right before he falls to sleep.
