Author Bio

Betty Anes Bartha, B.S. Education, major in Teaching and minor in Psychology. Betty has a wide background in Education which includes: Teaching in New York, Florida and Massachusetts. As well as an instructor at Fairleigh Dickinson University teaching English as a second language. Betty is also an avid poet. She enjoys piano, golf, pilates, and volunteering. She lives in Scottsdale, Az. with her husband Steve. They have two sons and two granddaughters. Betty created and co-authored the first Snug-A-Hug series, The Wonderful World Of My Wacky Grandma and the second book in the series, The Wonderful World Of My Wacky Grandpa.Karen (Kovitz) Katchen, PH.D. is a Clinical Psychologist as well as an Executive Coach in the Technology Sector. As an author, speaker and educator, she is a strong advocate for mental health in educational, health, workplace and public settings. She is a painter and stone sculptor and lives in Toronto, Canada. She and her husband have three children and are the proud grandparents of six. She co-authored and illustrated the first book in the Snug-A-Hug series, The Wonderful World Of My Wacky Grandma and the second book in the series, The Wonderful World Of My Wacky Grandpa.
