Description

The Zeroes are in disarray.
One of them has vanished into thin air.
One of them is in prison.
The rest of them are on the most-wanted list.
And something big is brewing.

After the deadly stand-off with Swarm, Bellwether is imprisoned and powerless while the rest of the Zeroes are scattered, on the run, and desperate. And Agent Phan of the FBI has a secret weapon up his sleeve.

A daring prison breakout reunites the team, and they're soon drawn to New Orleans where the Mardi Gras atmosphere promises enormous power to anyone who can tap into the crowds. There, an army of Zeroes is gathering around a charismatic leader whose plans are nothing short of cataclysmic.

Time is running out for the Zeroes, so they must learn to trust each other again and combine their powers for good - to avert the looming disaster.

A brilliant, action-packed conclusion to the superb Zeroes series.

'Nexus is intriguing high-octane drama.' - Kids Book Review

Author Bio

Scott Westerfeld is the #1 New York Times bestselling author of the Uglies and Leviathan trilogies. His novel So Yesterday won the Victorian Premier's Literary Award. His latest solo work is the graphic novel Spill Zone. Margo Lanagan has won four World Fantasy Awards for her short stories and for her novels Tender Morsels and Sea Hearts. Her work has also been shortlisted in the Hugo and Nebula awards and longlisted in the International IMPAC Dublin Literary Award and for the Carnegie Medal. Deborah Biancotti has published two short story collections. Her Aurealis-shortlisted Bad Power explored ordinary people discovering their superpowers. All three authors live in Sydney, where they are part of the overlapping communities of writers of genre and young adult fiction. They met at a pub to keep the Zeroes series on track and squabble about characters' motivations.
