Amy's dad has been MIA since she was born and she lives with her mum in a run down trailer park. Her mother makes a living as a psychic and from watching her mum do what she does for years, Amy has learned the tricks of cold reading and has hustled her classmates with her 'gift' ever since. then the mayor's daughter, Clare goes missing and Amy decides to go public with a supposed vision she has had of the girl. In reality, she's received info from an unknown source, and feels its her duty to at least try to help with the case ... and okay, make some decent money off the whole thing. As the media story grows bigger than ever, Amy's connection to Clare becomes stronger. Until it looks like someone else might know the truth and is willing to take Amy's lie further than she ever feared it could.
I did enjoy this book. It had a few good twists and turns and an ending that I didn't expect. I'll certainly look out for more books by this author * Miss Chapter Reviews *
An enjoyable read, which definitely took me to places I didn't expect. * Armadillo Magazine *
It was quite a tense and fast paced plot, and very well written. The last few sort of twists were pretty damn good, and I liked the way it all wrapped up and concluded * Sunset Cocktail *
I loved this character so much , she is a total breath of fresh air , an inspiration and we could all do with taking a lesson from her . I recommend this for every single person * Edel's Book Blog *
