Reviews

Both a terrific example of, and a marvelous introduction to, the Choose Your Own Adventure genre, Can You Survive a Global Blackout places you in a doomsday scenario and then leaves the choices up to you. . . .Granted, there aren't an overwhelming number of choices, but the choices available do lead to many varied outcomes, some optimistic, some brutally dark. (There are even several possible explanations for the blackout, depending on your choices.) With a bonus list of tips for surviving a blackout, this isn't just a "what if" book, it could easily be a "what will you do when" book.-- "Manhattan Book Review"
