Author Bio

Ellis Weiner is a freelance writer who contributes to the New Yorker and is a regular blogger for The Huffington Post. He is the author of several books for adults, including Yiddish with Dick and Jane, which he co-authored with his wife. Jeremy Holmes was born in Landstuhl, Germany, and raised in Auburn, New York. He has a master's degree from Tyler School of Art, and a bachelor's degree in graphic design from Philadelphia University, and is the creative mind behind Mutt Ink, a graphic design studio. His first book, There Was an Old Lady (also published by Chronicle), was awarded BolognaRazzi's Opera Prima award at the 2010 Bologna Book Fair.
