Description

A swashbuckling adventure story, based on the character in Isabel Allendes novel, ZORRO, but imagining his childhood adventures.
When cattle start to go missing from the de la Vegas ranch, and skilled workmen disappear from the local villages, it is clear that something mysterious is going on. But Diego (the young Zorro) and his brother Bernardo are determined to get to the bottom of the mystery and soon become embroiled in an exciting and dangerous conspiracy.

An exciting action-adventure story about the childhood of Zorro and his sidekick Bernardo. This novel is based on the character in Isabel Allendes novel ZORRO in which she imagines Zorros childhood. Zorro is an imaginary character who was invented at the beginning of the twentieth century half Hispanic and half Native American and the book is set in Southern California in the late nineteenth century.

The author Jan Adkins helped Isabel Allende with the research for her novel, which was published in the UK in May 2005. Allendes name will appear on the jacket.
