Description

The classic story, retold as a beautiful picture book to share with a new generation. "Bah humbug! What do I care for Christmas" sniped Scrooge. This is the snow-laden story of Scrooge, a mean miser, who is determined to think only of himself - and his money. That is, until he is visited by three Christmas spirits, and the true meaning of Christmas starts to work its magic on him, too . . . This classic and beloved story has been beautifully retold by Kristina Stephenson and atmospherically illustrated by Hoang Giang.

Author Bio

Kristina Stephenson (Author) Kristina Stephenson trained as a set and costume designer at the Central School of Art and Design. She worked in the theatre for many years, before moving into the world of children's television. She later wrote and illustrated the best-selling picture book series Sir Charlie Stinky Socks which is based on her son, Charlie, who does not have stinky socks. These days she continues to write and illustrate picture books, as well as packing up her VW camper van and touring the country, putting on events. You may see her, along with her props, puppets, songs, and a musical husband, at a show near you! Hoang Giang (Illustrator) Hoang Giang was born in Dalat, a small highland city in Vietnam, before moving to Ho Chi Minh City to work as an illustrator. She always has fun while working and likes to make her characters as lively as possible - because the story belongs to the characters, themselves.
