Caryl Hart (Author)
Caryl Hart is an award-winning children's author who writes picture books and young fiction. She runs creative literacy workshops for schools, libraries, communities and festivals. The Girl Who Planted Trees won Teach Early Years Best Picture Book Award 2022 and was chosen as one of the best books of 2022 by the Children's Laureate, Jospeh Coelho. Her best-selling Princess series has sold over a quarter of a million copies, and her books are published in numerous languages all over the world.
Caryl lives in Sheffield with her family and loves walking in the hills, cycling and wild swimming.
Sarah Warburton (Illustrator)
Sarah grew up in Anglesey, North Wales. She studied illustration at the University of the West of England, in Bristol, and hasn't looked back since. Sarah has created many books, working for a large variety of publishers, including illustrating the Rumblewick series, which has sold worldwide and is under movie option with DreamWorks. Her Princess series, written by Caryl Hart, has sold over 220,000 copies worldwide.
Sarah lives in Bristol with her husband, two children and a grumpy guinea pig.
