Author Bio

Saviour Pirotta was born on the island of Malta and emigrated to the UK. Before taking up writing full time, he was a postman, a chef, and a storyteller. His retellings of myths, legends, and folk tales have been published around the world. He lives in Saltaire, West Yorkshire. John Manders was educated at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh and the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York, where he studied childrens illustration, animation, and life drawing.Hes a member of theSociety of Illustrators, theSociety of Childrens Book Writers & Illustrators, and is a founding member of thePittsburgh Society of Illustrators.In May, 2006 he was named Outstanding Illustrator/Author by the Pennsylvania School Librarians Association.
