Follow the yellow brick road!
This classic American adventure is a tale of courage, brains, and heart. A tornado whisks Dorothy and her little dog Toto away to the strange and magical land of Oz. On her way to the Emerald City, she meets Lion, Tin Woodman, and Scarecrow. Will the Wizard of Oz make their dreams come true
Susan Hill CBE has been a professional writer for more than fifty years. Her books have won awards and prizes including the Whitbread and the John Llewellyn Rhys and the Somerset Maugham; and have been shortlisted for the Booker. Susan's writing career has encompassed acclaimed literary novels, ghost stories, childrens books, detective novels and memoirs. The Woman in Black, her terrifying ghost story, is still running as a play in the West End and is now a successful film. Susan was born in Scarborough, Yorkshire; attended Kings College, London; settled in North Norfolk; and most recently moved to Portland, OR. She is married with two daughters. Teresa Martinez grew up in a small town north of Mexico, playing in the river, walking with the cows, and feeding the neighbors pigs. Before becoming a childrens book illustrator, she studied graphic design and spent many afternoons reading art books in the university library. She lives in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.
