This unique coloring book contains the well-known story abridged from L. Frank Baum's book, as well as 61 W. W. Denslow drawings that have been adapted for crayons, paints, or felt pens. Familiar characters include Dorothy, Toto, the Scarecrow, Glinda, and the great Oz himself, along with scenes of Munchkin Land and the dazzling Emerald City.
Best known as the author of the Wizard of Oz stories, L. Frank Baum (1856-1919) wrote more than 55 novels under a variety of pseudonyms, in addition to poetry and plays. His prescient fantasies foretold such inventions as color television, laptop computers, and cordless phones.
