This illustrated, read aloud, children's book is for ages 2-6. The artwork is colorful and engaging. The story conveys that each child is uniquely created by God in love. God is referred to as the Light that is in friendship with the girl, Lucia (meaning light). They enjoy spending all their time together, until the Light reveals that Lucia must enter a new world. She is reluctant to leave the Light, but the Light is reassuring. Adventures and exploration await the girl in her life.
This is a story about purpose, beauty and ultimately love. A story that emphasizes God's unique plan for each child, and God's constant companionship throughout life. God delights in each individual.
Ms. Gardner is currently pursuing an engineering degree. She enjoys both hand -drawn and digital art as a hobby. This is her first illustrated book project.
