Author Bio

Liz Doughty is a wife, mother, dog mom, music lover, nature enthusiast, chocolate-eater, and eternal optimist. She also holds a B.S. in Music Business and an M.S. in Family & Consumer Sciences. When she was expecting her third child, she searched for a book to help prepare her two older kids for the new baby. When she was unable to find a book that met her needs, she decided she'd write it herself! Baby Henry was born that summer and soon after, the book "Henry the Third" was born, too.Mary Ciaccio is an educator with a B.S. in Art Education and an M.S. in Education. She has used children's literature in all areas of her teaching to increase her students' scope of appreciation for reading and the arts, while also raising six kids of her own. Ms. Ciaccio continues her work as a professional artist with paintings in oils ranging from florals to abstracts.
