Author Bio
Risa Hugo is a Canadian illustrator with a BFA from Emily Carr University of Art and Design. Before Shadow, she also illustrated children's books such as Why Are You So Quiet and Leopold's Leotard. She spent most of her childhood living in Japan but currently lives in Vancouver, Canada with her husband and their sons.
