Author Bio

When my boyfriend walked into my life, he brought with him a 2-year-old bundle of love, and a new step-mom was born. I started reading to him every night and realized quickly that all of his children's books depicted the traditional family; mom, dad, and baby. I wanted to create a book for my new little man that illustrated his family. He has a dad, mom, step-dad, and me, his future step-mom. In Tall Bear, kids like my step-son get to see families like theirs. My goal is to create more books in the step-stories series that depict all kinds of family types that are all too often unrepresented.
