Evan Wolkenstein is a Jewish educator, style writer, and illustrator in San Francisco. Originally from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Evan received his bachelor's degree in creative writing from the University of Wisconsin at Madison. He teaches Jewish Studies at the Jewish Community High School of the Bay, drawing from his background in Experiential Education and Design Thinking and is also a Kevah Educator, teaching Hebrew Bible to adults through the lenses of literature, psychology and sociology. Evan has been published in Tablet Magazine and the Washington Post and creates animated cartoons for teaching pedagogy.
