The moon is missing. Can it be found before disaster strikes A comic fantasy caper with magic aplenty from a sparkling new voice in middle-grade fiction.
Meet Lampwick the Lighthouse Keeper: astronomer and the devoted guardian of the lamp at the top of the world. When the moon disappears, this reclusive boy and his sheepdog Humphrey are pulled onto a quest to find it and avert disaster. Their night evolves into a smorgasbord of strangeness as the duo encounter everything from a self-centred duck and his aerial display team to a stomach-churning flight with Witchway Airlines; from a herd of mystical Sea Horses to some seriously revolting slime. Lots and lots of slime. It will take wits, magic and the help of unexpected friends to find the Moon and return it to the sky. And all in time for breakfast.
