Description

Kevin Paterson, a sixteen-year-old cartography enthusiast and cancer patient, decides to rewrite his fate by running away from yet another grueling round of chemotherapy. Determined to accomplish something meaningful, he heads to Ethiopia in search of a mysterious river. Lost in the mountains, he stumbles upon Sheba-a hidden land few have ever seen and from which no one escapes. There, he meets Tamar, a beautiful princess poised to become queen-if she can survive the threats that surround her. Kevin's fight to save Tamar draws them closer, but with his time running short, he must confront the impossible choice between love and his only chance for a cure. Tamar, recognizing that Kevin's survival lies outside Sheba's borders, faces her own impossible decision.
