Reviews

Aureliani's b&w illustrations bring a fittingly cartoony vibe to the madcap action. . . .dinosaur fans should still be swept up in the fun.-- "Publishers Weekly"
Michael travels with his paleontologist dad. On this particular trip, Mike wanders off and meets a girl who is trying to trap a REAL dinosaur to send it back in time from where it came. I think kids will enjoy this first book in a new dinosaur adventure series. It's a simple adventure story with good kid-appeal.-- "Imagination Soup"
The appearance of a live T. Rex near a fossil dig kicks off a wild round of dino-antics in this series kickoff from an Eisner Award-winning comics writer. . . .Franco strews his lickety-split escapade with cartoons featuring wide-eyed figures viewed, often, from dramatic angles, leaves loose ends aplenty for sequels, and tacks on a dino-glossary and a set of T. Rex facts at the end. Like Sam with those hot dogs, readers eager to snap up any dino-story will make quick work of this tongue-in-cheek romp.-- "Kirkus Reviews"
Young readers will enjoy the fast-paced adventures and will overlook the unbelievable actions. Large font, short paragraphs, cartoon drawings, and simple vocabulary make this series a good selection for readers moving into the beginning novel.-- "School Library Connection"
