Jenny Mirland, an eleven-year-old 'runt' is recruited by the Hummingbird Faeries to defend and save their ancient home hidden in the mountains of Catalina Island. Author Bio

S.R. Zales was born in Cleveland Ohio. He grew up in Southern California and graduated from Loyola University. Stan is a former Explorer Scout and Marine. One great experience was duplicating Huck Finn's raft adventure on a homemade raft on the Mississippi River. He currently resides in Las Vegas with family.
